I installed these on a full-size Kimber Custom II. The screws are a perfect fit and definitely within spec for a Gov't or Commander 1911. The new grips I put on--an ivory colored set of rubber grips--aren't the greatest, but they add a nice contrast to the all-black finish, and the screws are a nice accompaniment to the grips that match the other stainless parts very well (i.e. the barrel, bushing, guide rod, hammer, and trigger).I personally am also getting real sick of this trend where new pistols come with oddball grip screws that need a Torx or Hex Head screwdriver to remove. Just give me the plain old Flat Head grip screws any day; they look nicer (IMO) and make the pistol just a little easier to maintain for the average guy.Hogue is one of the brand names I have come to trust over the years for decent quality and reliability at an affordable price. These grip screws are exactly what I would have expected from them.
